Battles Over – A Nations Tribute

2nd October 2018 Posted in Community News

Bracknell Town Council would like to mark the centenary of the end of WWI by hosting a family event with free entry to bring the community together.

We aim to educate, remember the fallen soldiers of Bracknell, and create a lasting impression of the experiences of war that has shaped our present day.

In partnership with Royal British Legion we aim to bring together schools, churches, residents, scouts, cadets, charities and local businesses to mark this prestigious occasion. Our main aim is to educate Bracknell of our heritage, develop knowledge of our younger generation of our local history and unite our community.

All donations from the event will go to the Royal British Legion to support Armed Forces families and veterans in the local area.
Please come and celebrate this special and momentous event!
