A Warm Welcome for Councillor Ian Kirke

10th May 2018 Posted in Community News

Bracknell Town Council welcomed its newest councillor today. Cllr Ian Kirke, who won a seat in Bullbrook for the Conservatives at the recent by-election, visited the council’s office at Brooke House to complete post-election administration.

Cllr Kirke said: “I look forward to representing Bullbrook residents. Bracknell Town Council runs a number of green spaces in Bullbrook: The Elms; Bullbrook Drive and Freeborn Way play areas, and Larges Lane cemetery. Residents made it clear how important these facilities are to them, and I will work to see that they continue to be maintained well.”

Cllr Chris Turrell, leader of the Council, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Ian to the Council. I am sure he will work hard to help Bullbrook residents.”
