Magistrates’ Court Mock Trial Competition

19th March 2018 Posted in Community News

The Royal County of Berkshire Magistrates’ Court Mock Trial Competition took place at Reading Crown Court over the past two Saturdays, with The High Sheriff as Patron.

Bracknell Town Mayor, Councillor Clive Harrison, and Deputy Town Mayor Councillor Mrs Sandra Ingham both attended and were proud of the performance of our Bracknell participating schools: Easthampstead Park Community School and Ranelagh School.

Congratulations to students for their winning performances as lawyers, witnesses and magistrates.  This was the first round of a national competition and was judged by serving magistrates.  Both schools are through to the regional finals that take place in May.
