New Town Clerk for Bracknell

Jackie Burgess has been appointed to the position of Town Clerk at Bracknell Town Council, following a selection process.‎ Jackie has worked for the Town Council since 2006, most recently as Deputy Town Clerk.

Jackie will be Acting Town Clerk from 1 February until the appointment is ratified by full Council on 21 February‎.

Cllr Chris Turrell, leader of Bracknell Town Council said: “I congratulate Jackie on this well-deserved new role. She has gained considerable knowledge of the Council in her time here, and is fully committed to taking the Council forward in the future.”

The new appointment will follow the retirement of Russell Reeve, who has been Town Clerk since July 2012.
