Braybrooke Recreation Ground
This 15 acre recreation ground with football pitches and two children’s play areas is a popular area for children, young people and dog walkers. There are a number of attractions for older children including a spectacular high spinner, rock stack and teenage meeting shelter.
On site is a large well-appointed community hall with kitchen, which is available for hire and is accessible for those with mobility difficulties. The hall also provides changing facilities for sports teams.
Jean’s Pond is close to the community hall and offers a tranquil setting for fishing. On 1st April 2016 a brand new nature and fishing club will be launched and will replace the current fishing permit system. From 1st April anyone wishing to fish at Jeans Pond will either have to be a club member or purchase a day ticket. For more information please contact Danny or Mike, our Environment Wardens on 07714 481535 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
There is a large free car park next to the community hall and the Town Council’s works depot is also based at this site.
