Summer of Fun at Braybrooke a Success!!

17th August 2017 Posted in Community News

Braybrooke Summer of Fun was a HUGE success!

Families gathered for the FREE summer event held at Braybrooke Recreation Ground on Wednesday 16th August.

With an array of activities, there was something for everyone to enjoy from handling birds of prey, miniature golf to creating art work and storytelling. Braybrooke Nature and Fishing Club (BCNFC) coaches gave short lessons to children who were keen to learn how to fish at the tranquil Jeans’ Pond.

The recreational ground was alive with colour, music and laughter throughout the day.  Many families continued the fun after the event with picnics in the sunshine whilst children enjoyed the play area facilities.

Bracknell Town Mayor Clive Harrison attended the popular event and enjoyed being involved with the community.

Bracknell Town Council would like to thank all those who attended and gave support to ensure the event was such a success!

We look forward to our final Summer of Fun event held on 30th August 2017 at North Lake, South Hill Park 11am – 3pm.
