75th Anniversary of VE Day

7th May 2020 Posted in Council News

Friday 8th May 2020 is the 75th anniversary of VE Day.

Bracknell Town Council was due to host a tea party for residents of local Bracknell care homes to celebrate this momentous occasion. Unfortunately the event had to be cancelled due to the Covid-19 crisis, however that has not stopped the Council from planning a day full of celebration!

You can watch videos of the Nation’s Toast, A Cry for Peace Around the World and also a special message from the Town Mayor on our Facebook page over the day at certain times.

We look forward to your comments of celebration and support on our videos. Click on this link to visit our Facebook page.
