Bracknell Town Council’s Environment Wardens tackle dog fouling in Bracknell
27th June 2018 Posted in Community News
BARDO ‘Be A Responsible Dog Owner’ on the road events were a success during May and June 2018.
Bracknell Town Council’s Environment Wardens worked hard to bring ‘BARDO on the Road’ sessions to five sites across Bracknell. They engaged with local dog walkers offering advice, leaflets and poo bags. In addition the Environment Wardens cleared over 108 incidents of dog fouling and clearly marked each foul with a red flag to highlight the issue.
Bracknell Town Council would like to thank all the responsible dog owners who clear up after their dogs and to all the volunteers and ‘The Number 2 Crew’ from Exclusively Dogs who have assisted the BARDO sessions.
Bracknell Town Councils Environment Wardens offer a range of services including presentations and talks for schools, youth groups such as Scouts and Guides that cover a range of topics from dog fouling to litter, recycling and caring for the wildlife. The presentations are suitable for ages 5 years and up and are completely FREE. If you are interested or would like further information please contact environment.warden@bracknelltowncouncil.gov.uk
