Get Involved with Bracknell in Bloom

There are lots of ways to get involved with the Bracknell in Bloom campaign.

Bracknell Your Gardens

Bracknell Your Gardens is an annual public gardening competition open to Bracknell residents, businesses, schools, streets and community groups and is free to enter. The competition’s aim is to encourage the community to take part in Bracknell in Bloom and take pride in Bracknell, making it an attractive place to live, work and visit.

The competition is organised by Bracknell Forest Homes and Bracknell Horticultural Association and is supported by Bracknell in Bloom. If you would like to enter this year’s competition or contact the organisers please email: bracknellyourgardens@gmail.com

Take Pride

Can you help with litter picking or do you want to get involved with other environmental projects to improve your neighbourhood? You can do this through the Bracknell Forest Take Pride campaign.

Take Pride is run by Bracknell Forest Council, INVOLVE (formerly Bracknell Forest Voluntary Action) and Thames Valley Police. It encourages and helps communities to undertake volunteering activities in the Bracknell Forest area and is an ideal opportunity to get involved in a positive contribution to enhance your neighbourhood. Volunteers are encouraged to share skills and knowledge to improve the quality of life in the community. Tools and materials are provided to tackle unsightly problems such as litter and graffiti. Bags of collected litter can be disposed of by Bracknell Forest Council. For further information on Take Pride, please visit the Take Pride page on Bracknell Forest Council’s website.

Street Scene

The cleanliness of the street scene is vital to the visual environment of Bracknell. You can help us keep Bracknell looking blooming beautiful by keeping your frontage clean and tidy, swept and free of litter and weeds.

Feedback

Please can you let us know what’s happening in your community so that we can include your work in our judges’ presentation and Bracknell in Bloom literature? Please contact us via the Contact page or Bracknell in Bloom’s Facebook page.
