Citizens Advice Bracknell & District is a local, independent charity. We help people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing information and advice, and by influencing policymakers. We are recruiting for a Communications & Administration Officer (part-time).

Job title:       Communications & Administration Officer (part-time)

Contract:      15 Hours per week (fixed term for one year initially) Tuesday – Thursday (and occasional evenings)

Salary:          £8,471 p.a. (FTE £20,895 p.a.)

 Location:      Citizens Advice Bracknell & District

Reports to:    Operational managers

Reports:          Social Media volunteers

Purpose:        As part of the administrative team, to provide administrative support to ensure effective delivery of our service for clients by

  • Developing and applying back office processes which effectively underpin the service we deliver.You will:You will provide efficient, wide-ranging administrative support, including conducting and reporting on local surveys, administrative support for the Trustee Board, managing volunteers, maintaining our website and other social media channels, responsibility for health and safety compliance and reporting, bookkeeping and daily admin support for our busy advice team. With demonstrable effectiveness in previous roles, you must be highly organised and have excellent attention to detail. Strong IT and interpersonal skills are essential; you must be a good communicator and team player. The ability to use your initiative (within set parameters) is also key.      


  • Qualifications and experience:
