Bracknell Town Mayor Cllr Sandra Ingham was delighted to receive a generous cheque from Francis Construction for the Mayor’s charity, Youth at South Hill Park Arts Centre.
Bracknell Town Mayor is supporting three youth programmes: 11/17 weekly drop-in sessions for creative young people, Wilde About Arts for our more vulnerable youth and MOLE – the young producers programme which this summer has welcomed 500 local primary school children to South Hill Park to experience the arts.
The local family-owned Berkshire construction business, Francis Construction, is building the impressive new Great Hollands pavilion. Bracknell Town Mayor eagerly awaits the Topping Out ceremony saying, “This will be fabulous community hub which will benefit local people of all ages.” William Barrett, Francis Construction Managing Director describes the building as an inspiring space designed to provide excellent facilities along with views to the playing fields on the one side and to children’s activities on the other.
Francis Construction is mindful of local residents, using the quietest machines at their disposal. Bracknell Town Councillor Roger Meakes of the Great Hollands ward said, “I am pleased to find there has been no objection from residents, I understand they have been supportive during this phase of the build.”
