HM The Queen Visits The Lexicon

Friday 19th October was a historic day for Bracknell residents as Her Majesty The Queen visited The Lexicon town centre and unveiled a plaque to commemorate the first anniversary of our newly transformed town centre.
Two pupils from each of our Bracknell schools had the honour of attending this event and two pupils from Birch Hill Primary School presented Her Majesty The Queen with a bouquet of flowers.
Local residents lined the route around The Lexicon cheering and waving Union Jack flags. It was a great honour for Bracknell Town Council when The Lord Lieutenant of Berkshire introduced Bracknell Town Mayor, Cllr Sandra Ingham to Her Majesty The Queen. “On behalf of Bracknell residents a warm welcome to our truly transformed town centre Your Majesty,” said Bracknell Town Mayor Cllr Sandra Ingham.
