Allan Moffat, our Recreational Facilities Manager, is the worthy national winner of the NALC Council Worker of the Year competition. Allan’s award reflects his key role for Bracknell Town Council in delivering the high standard of services provided and the many projects successfully completed this year. In addition, this award is due to Allan’s role in the outstanding achievements of Bracknell in the Britain in Bloom competition in recent years, which he leads for Bracknell, with success being achieved here through partnership working with Bracknell Forest Council, Bracknell Forest Homes, Bracknell Regeneration Partnership and community organisations including Bracknell Horticultural Association and the Bracknell Forest Society. The award also recognises the large number of events run through the year by Bracknell Town Council, the well regarded and price competitive services to neighbouring town and parish Councils, schools, and also other activities, such as the excellent work of our Environment Wardens – all of which has benefited from Allan’s skill, enthusiasm and experience. Congratulations Allan!
