Nesting Crows at Great Hollands Rec

12th June 2020 Posted in Community News

  • Crows are nesting in the trees in the wooded area near the recycling bins.
  • Wild birds sometimes swoop unprovoked at people to protect their nests during May, June and July.
  • Try to avoid the nesting sites until August if possible.
  • If you cannot avoid the area try wearing a hat or carry an umbrella as birds tend to swoop at the highest part of you.
