16th May 2018 Posted in Community News, Council News

Councillor Sandra Ingham was inaugurated as 2018-19 Town Mayor and Councillor Roger Meakes as the Deputy Town Mayor at our AGM held on Tuesday 15th May 2018 at Braybrooke Community Hall.

Bracknell Town Mayor Cllr Mrs Sandra Ingham said “I am pleased to announce my chosen charity for the year is Youth Outreach Learning and Participation Programmes at South Hill Park.”

“I believe that youth engagement produces positive outcomes both for the young people involved and the local community and reaching out to vulnerable young people through the arts is a key aspect of South Hill Park’s ethos.” Added Town Mayor Cllr Sandra Ingham.

Youth Outreach Learning and Participation Programmes at South Hill Park run a variety of targeted and open-access projects at South Hill Park; made possible by such charitable fundraising.

Town Mayor for 2017-18 Cllr Clive Harrison raised over £2500.00 for his chosen charities Keep Mobile Country Tours and Ascot Area Alzheimer’s support group (Triple A). He also attended well over 100 engagements during his mayoral year in 2017-18.

19 local charities/ organisations benefited from our Annual Grant, that was presented to charity representatives by the Town Mayor. Each grant recipient thanked Bracknell Town Council and gave an update on how the grant will support their charity.
