Fishing Permits

Anyone wishing to fish at either Jeans’ Pond, Braybrooke or the River Cut at Jocks Lane will either need to be a member of the Braybrooke Community Nature and Fishing Club or purchase a day ticket. The club is open to all residents of Bracknell Forest and is very community focused.  To become a member or book a day ticket, book online via Castbooker

North Lake and Mill Pond

The fishing rights on North Lake are managed by the Bracknell Herons Angling Club.  Day tickets to fish at both North Lake and Mill Pond can be obtained from the Crowthorne Angling Centre, 91-95 Church Street, Crowthorne, Tel. No. 01344 777411.  If you wish to become a member of the Bracknell Herons Angling Club, please call 07768 386046.

How to Purchase a Rod Licence

You can buy a 1-day, 8-day or 12-month licence for both adults and juniors online from Gov.UK or call the Environment Agency on 0344 800 5386 Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm (except public holidays).

Eligibility for Disabled Persons

|You can get a 12-month licence if one of the following applies:

  • You hold a Blue Badge
  • You receive Personal Independence Payment (any rate)
  • You are in receipt of Disability Living Allowance

Provide either your Blue Badge or National Insurance number (or child reference number if you are under 16) when you are applying.
