Simon was elected in the May 2023 by-election and has been a proud Bracknell resident since 1986. Initially settling in Great Hollands, he has called Wildridings home for the past eight years. Drawn to Bracknell by its excellent services, vibrant community, and stunning green spaces, Simon is passionate about preserving and enhancing the area’s environment, services, and community spirit.

Simon brings a wealth of experience from his diverse background in telecommunications, union representation, foster care, and charity work. A committed volunteer, he is determined to leverage his skills to make meaningful improvements in the community. As a resident of Wildridings, Simon is particularly dedicated to serving what he considers one of Bracknell’s most cherished neighbourhoods.

In his free time, Simon is an active member of Bracknell Forest Runners and is currently training for the Virtual London Marathon, raising funds for the Mayor’s charity, Home-Start Bracknell. When not running, Simon can sometimes be spotted at Bracknell Rugby Club, humorously confident he could still take to the field.
