The crowds came out for the final Summer of Fun 2016 family activity day. The event was held at North Lake Recreation Ground, South Hill Park on Wednesday, 31st August.
There were lots of FREE activities to try out including: inflatables, circus skills, laser tag, climbing wall, crazy golf, football skills, balloon modelling, as well as meeting native British birds. The Wayz brought along a variety of inflatables and their graffiti boards for the older children. They also helped fund the Summer of Fun programme. Bracknell Forest Council’s early learning team gave children the opportunity to build and design buildings out of cardboard – their very own miniature Bracknell regeneration project! The early learning team also provided some financial support for the Summer of Fun programme. Thames Valley Police, Royal Berkshire Fire Brigade and Bracknell Forest Council’s children’s centres and recycling team were also on hand to help make the day fun.
The day was a great success – thanks to everyone that helped on the day and behind the scenes.
This year’s Summer of Fun events were organised and funded by: Bracknell Town Council, Binfield Parish Council, Crowthorne Parish Council, Sandhurst Town Council, Warfield Parish Council & Winkfield Parish Council, with support from: Bracknell Forest Council, Berkshire Youth, Fusion & The Wayz.
