Jeans’ Pond, Braybrooke and the River Cut, Jocks Lane
Anyone wishing to fish at Jeans’ Pond, Braybrooke or the River Cut at Jocks Lane will either need to be a member of the Braybrooke Nature and Fishing Club or purchase a day ticket. The club is open to all residents of Bracknell Forest and is very community focused.

North Lake and Mill Pond
The fishing rights on North Lake are managed by the Bracknell Herons Fishing Club. Day tickets to fish at both North Lake and Mill Pond can be obtained from the Crowthorne Angling Centre, 91-95 Church Street, Crowthorne, Tel No: 01344 777411. If you wish to become a member of the Bracknell Herons Fishing Club, please call 07768 386046.
How to Purchase a Rod Licence
As of 16 January 2023, it’s no longer possible to buy rod fishing licences from the Post Office. You can buy a 1-day, 8-day or 12-month licence for both adults and juniors online or call the Environment Agency on 0344 800 5386 Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm (except public holidays).

Eligibility for disabled licences
You can get a 12-month disabled licence if one of the following applies:
- you have a Blue Badge
- you get Personal Independence Payment (any rate)
- you get Disability Living Allowance
Give your Blue Badge or National Insurance number (or child reference number if you’re under 16) when you apply.
