Accessible Facilities

We strive to ensure that all our facilities are accessible.  The pavilions at Great Hollands Recreation Ground, Jocks Lane Park, Mill Park and the community hall at Braybrooke Recreation Ground all provide accessible toilet facilities.  DisabledGo has accessibility details for the majority of our facilities.

Bus Shelters

Bracknell Town Council are responsible for a number of bus shelters within the town and always welcome any reports of vandalism or damage. Please contact us on 01344 420079.

Garden Waste Sacks

Garden waste sacks are available to purchase from our coffee shops at Jocks Lane and Great Hollands recreation ground.  Maximum of 10 per household and cost £1.10 each.  They are also available from all libraries in the borough.

Halls for Hire

We offer 2 halls for occasional hire, as well as our Council Chamber. You can find more details on the Hall Hire page, or under the ‘Facilities’ menu.  To obtain a copy of the leaflet click here.

Open Spaces for Hire

We offer open spaces for hire for certain community events and charity events. You can find our rules, regulations and the booking form here: Booking form and regulations for Events

Radar Keys

Radar keys are available to purchase from Brooke House for £3.00 each. Proof of disability required (e.g. blue badge or doctor’s letter).

Synthetic Pitch

We have a full size sand based Synthetic Pitch with floodlighting available for hire throughout the year. This is used extensively for football and hockey. There are changing facilities and a kiosk selling hot drinks and refreshments is open at busy times.

TV Licence Grants

We provide grants towards TV licences for our elderly and disabled residents. Check out the TV Grant page to see if you are eligible.
