Comments, Complaints and Compliments
Bracknell Town Council aims to provide high standards of service. However, we accept that occasionally things may go wrong. If this happens, we want to hear about it, and have an opportunity to put things right as soon as possible.
If you have a complaint about our services, please contact us as soon as possible by phone, email or post, setting out clearly the nature of your complaint and if appropriate the exact location. We will respond to you within three working days to let you know what is happening and will put the matter right as soon as we are able to, within budgetary constraints.
Health and safety matters will be given the highest priority. Complaints can also be made via your local Ward Councillor: their contact details can be found on the Councillors page.
You can download our complaints policy from this website.
All complaints are logged in our complaints register which contains details of each complaint and any action taken in response. The register is reviewed by councilors at full council meetings. This review ensures complaints are dealt with promptly, lessons are learnt, and if required, improvements are made to our services or facilities.
Naturally, we are always pleased to receive compliments about our work and these are passed on to staff members and Councillors as appropriate. Compliments are logged in a compliments register which is put before each Full Council meeting to inform Councillors of what we are doing well. If you have a compliment to make about our facilities or services please contact us by phone, e-mail or post, or by passing it on to our staff.
If you have a comment about our facilities or services, or have a request for a new service or facility, please contact us. All comments and requests are carefully considered and any matters raised will be resolved as quickly as possible within budgetary constraints. We welcome information about issues we may have overlooked or are unaware of, e.g. missing padlocks on allotment gates, overhanging trees etc.
