Community Halls for Hire

The community hall at Braybrooke Recreation Ground, the Copse Suite at Jocks Lane and the Pavilion at Great Hollands Recreation Ground are available for one-off hires such as weddings, anniversaries, children’s and family birthdays, and other special occasions. They are not available for parties from ages 13 to 21. Bouncy castles, smoke / bubble machines, scooters, bicycles, nerf guns, ball sports, fireworks, and barbeques are not permitted anywhere on the premises.

The premises may be used for private functions only and tickets must not be sold at the door. Smoking is not permitted in any part of the building. The hirer may serve alcohol at a private event, however a Temporary Events Licence (TEN) must be obtained from Bracknell Forest Council if alcohol is to be sold (i.e. a mobile bar). The hirer will be responsible for the sale of intoxicating liquor in respect of consumption on the premises. Hirers and organisers of events on the premises are responsible for ensuring that the noise levels of functions is not such as to interfere with, nor to cause inconvenience to, the occupiers of nearby houses and apartments; music must be turned off by 11pm.

The fully accessible pavilion at Great Hollands is also available to hire for funeral wakes. Holding up to 80 people with separate fully equipped kitchen and plenty of car parking, it is situated opposite the Easthampstead Crematorium. There is a loading / unloading bay close to the Pavilion at Great Hollands designated for both Private and Commercial Hirers’ use. The drop-down bollard is for Bracknell Town Council business use only.

Setting up and clearing up must be included in the booking, with a minimum of 3 hours for one-off hires.

Private Hire:	Monday – Friday	£20.00 per hour
	Saturday – Sunday	£28.50 per hour
Commercial Hire:	Monday – Sunday	£29.50 per hour
Playgroups	Term time only	£20.00 per session
Coffee Shop	Jocks Lane only	£13.50 per hour

Must be vacated by 10pm Monday – Thursday, midnight Friday and Saturday and 9pm on Sunday

Great Hollands Pavilion

Minimum of 3 hours for one-off bookings

Private & Commercial Hire:

Monday – Sunday

£30.50 per hour

Must be vacated by 9pm Sunday to Thursday, 10pm on Friday and Saturday

We can only accept payment by bank transfer – we do not accept credit/debit cards.

A deposit of £50.00 is required within 48 hours* to confirm bookings and also against any damage which may be incurred during the hall hire. This will be refunded after the date of hire but will be withheld if any damage is incurred. Payment for hall hire must be made in full ten days before the date of hire.
*If a response is not received in this timeframe the booking will be cancelled.

Council Chamber Brooke House 54 High Street. Bracknell. Berkshire. RG12 1LL	The Council Chamber at Brooke House is available for daytime meeting hire between Monday to Friday from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. With seating for up to 35 people, the cost of hire is £29.00 per hour. Wireless internet access is available for a one-off charge of £6.00. The Chamber is situated on the first floor of the building. A stair lift is available to the first floor, but there are no accessible toilet facilities.
