Jocks Lane Recreation Ground
This attractive park has been awarded Green Flag status annually from 2012 and is an ideal location for a family picnic with plenty to keep the family entertained. There is a splash pad area (open between 10am and 6pm daily) next to the pavilion where there are family friendly toilet facilities including a shower cubicle (to obtain a copy of the leaflet click here.) The pavilion also has a coffee shop serving light refreshments and a hall which is available for hire.
The park also boasts a well-appointed play area, teenage meeting shelter, miniature golf, tennis courts, basketball court, outdoor table tennis, hard surface kick about area and a large playing field with junior football pitches.
Jocks Lane also plays host to the Bracknell Railway Society which provides miniature steam train rides on selected dates throughout the year. Please visit their website for running dates and further details.
Leading from the park is a pleasant walk along the Cut Countryside Corridor with access to Jocks Copse and Tinkers Copse where there is a spectacular display of bluebells in spring (these copses are maintained by Bracknell Forest Council).
A large free car park next to the pavilion and main play area completes the facilities at this splendid park.
